ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- There are quite of few scheduled for Aberdeen coming up on Thursday.
The Salvation Army will be hosting their first agency fair. Corp administrator Joel Arthur provides a preview.
The fair runs from 10am-4pm.
On Thursday night, Leah Southwell, Coordinator John Birch Society, will be talking about the role government should play in regard to the U.S. Constitution.
Southwell compare the society to the group promoting the Convention of State which they oppose.
Southwell talks about the Convention method that has not been used in over 200 years.
Southwell talks about the issue that the John Birch Society has with the U.S. Congress.
Southwell talks about solutions needing to be settled by the State & not the Federal Government & gave the example of the abortion issue.
The event at City Lights will begin at 7pm.
There will be a meet & greet with Republican nominee for SD Secretary of State Monae Johnson coming up from 5-8pm at Pizza Ranch. It’s an opportunity for voters to get to know her and her positions of South Dakota election process.
