YANKTON, S.D.(WNAX)- While the overall population count was done last year, local governments are still waiting on details from the Census Bureau.

Dave Mingo, Community and Economic Development Director for the City of Yankton, says the delay of information is a problem.

Mingo says they use that detailed census information in a number of projects.

Mingo says having a certified total population report is a start.
