ABERDEEN, SD (HubCityRadio.com) – On Thursday, the Aberdeen Roncalli Cavaliers golf squad cleaned up during the Roncalli Invite at Lee Park GC in the Hub City. The Cavs finished 33 shots ahead of the second place squad, the Tigers of Groton Area. Battling the chilly temperatures & other conditions, Claire Crawford carded an [+11, 82] for the afternoon, good for the medalist. Just two shots behind her was Groton’s Carly Guthmiller. Three more Cavaliers rounded out the top five, Grace Seyer, Morgan Helms & Ava Danielson finished in third, fourth and fifth place, respectively. Check out the full results below…

Huron Invite w/ Aberdeen Central: GGID: G24HI

HURON, SD (HubCityRadio.com) – On Thursday from Huron, the local golfers had to deal with lousy weather, rain & strong winds, but somehow managed to put up some phenomenal results. Collectively as a team, Aberdeen Central finished in second place behind Mitchell by just one stroke. Individually, the medalist for the afternoon was Olivia Braun who carded a [+1, 73] on a day where the golfers had to deal with temperatures in the mid-50’s and wind gusts as strong as 35mph. Braun played error free golf down the stretch, on the final five holes, she picked up pars on each hole. Braun’s teammate, Emma Dohrer finished in 3^rd place (behind Mitchell’s Allison Meyerink) just three shots back of Braun, carding a [+4, 76] for the day. Kyley Wirebaugh finished tied for 5^th place with a [+7, 79] for the day. The Golden Eagles return to the links on Friday (5/3) in Yankton for the Yankton Invitational.
