ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – Longtime Aberdeen sportscaster Gene Reich passed away early this morning.

Reich’s career spanned more than 30 years before he retired in 2018. He was most recently the broadcast voice of the Aberdeen Central Golden Eagles. He also served as the voice of the Northern State Wolves during his career.

He is a member of the Aberdeen Central Hall of Fame.

Reich worked at Avera as a telehealth coordinator from 1998 to 2018.
