SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Sioux Falls Schools Superintendent Brian Maher says he’s excited about taking over as the new Executive Director of the South Dakota State Board of Regents.
Dr. Maher said that he’s looking forward to the transition from K-12 education to higher education.
Maher has been Sioux Falls Schools Chief for five years. He leaves the end of the month and is on the job with the Regents just days later. The school superintendent in Redmond, Washington, in the Seattle area, Jane Stavem, takes over from Maher.
