YANKTON, S.D.(WNAX)- A major pipe in the Yankton Water Treatment plant has sprung a leak, but there are work arounds in place.

City Manager Amy Leon says the twelve inch pipe is in the injector loop of the plant.

Leon says the city does have a back up water treatment plant.

Leon says they want a fix before temperatures rise too  much.

Leon says they hope to have a new pipe in place in the next few weeks.
