SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (WNAX) – A major storm will bring everything from blizzard conditions to thunderstorms over the next few days.

Kyle Weisser at the National Weather Service in Sioux Falls says west river will see the heavy snow and winds first.

Weisser says heavy rain is still the threat in east river South Dakota.

Weisser says blowing snow is also a threat in eastern South Dakota later this week.

The good news is following this storm should bring a pattern of above normal temperatures and below normal precipitation.
