Marcella “Sally” Grosek, 84, of Webster, passed away, Monday, March 3, 2025, at Sun Dial Manor in Bristol.

Mass of Christian burial will 2:00 pm Friday, March 7, 2025 at Christ the King Catholic church in Webster. Burial will be at the St. Otto’s Catholic Cemetery.

Marcella “Sally” Grosek was born on April 10, 1940 to Michael and Rose (Sinderman) Rauchwarter at the Peabody hospital in Webster, South Dakota. She attended Roslyn School and obtained her GED. In the year of 1956 she married her sweetheart, Donald Grosek. They got married on November 10, 1956 at the Immaculate Conception Church in Waubay. Three beautiful children came to this union, their two daughters, Judy and Denise and son Dennis.

After their marriage the couple made their home in Webster. In 1967 they moved to Fergus Falls, Minnesota. In 1972 they returned to Webster where she worked in the county auditor’s office where she later became the deputy auditor.

She was a member of Christ the King Catholic church. Marcella had a fun attitude with life and all it had to offer. In her later years she enjoyed attending concerts and taking a drive around town with a dear friend. She always enjoyed company and spending time with friends.

Marcella passed away on March 3, 2025 at Sundial Manor in Bristol, South Dakota at the age of 84 years, 10 months, and 23 days.

She will be forever cherished by her children Judy (Dan) Parks of Rapid City, SD; Denise (Larry) Geffre of Fargo, ND; Dennis Grosek of Fargo, ND, her grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchild, and many other close friends and family.

She is preceded in death by her parents Michael and Rose (Sinderman) Rauchwarter and her husband Donald Grosek.
