Mayor Schaunaman trying to remain positive during pandemic

ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – The Aberdeen City Council passed a mask resolution on a 5-4 vote at its meeting Monday evening.

Aberdeen Mayor Travis Schaunaman said experts are still trying to find the best ways to combat coronavirus.

While the state is currently at an all-time high with 483 individuals hospitalized in connection with the virus, Schaunaman said it is far cry from the original numbers that were talked about when the virus first started.

He said he believes that things will be improving in the near future.

Schaunaman said there are two camps when it comes to mask wearing and each make compelling arguments for their side.
