YANKTON, S.D. (WNAX) – Mayors and Managers of most first-class cities in South Dakota recently met in Chamberlain.

Yankton Mayor Nathan Johnson says they talked about financial issues between counties and cities.

Johnson says there have been some changes in cooperation due to those financial issues.

Johnson says they also talked about the brain drain, the number of young people leaving the state after they graduate from college.

Johnson says the cities will meet again this fall to come up with a legislative agenda.
