PIERRE, S.D.(Press Release)- The Medical Marijuana Study Subcommittee will hold their second meeting of the 2021 Interim on  Wednesday, August 4, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. (CT). The meeting is being conducted via electronic conference  and in Room 362 of the State Capitol in Pierre, South Dakota, to allow for both remote and in-person participation.

The group, which is one of two subcommittees of the Marijuana Interim Study Committee, will review proposed administrative rules from the Department of Health regarding medical cannabis. The agenda is available online.  The subcommittee is chaired by Senator Bryan Breitling.

Members include Representatives Fred Deutsch, Linda Duba, Caleb Finck, Ernie Otten, Carl Perry, Taylor Rehfeldt, and Marli Wiese, and Senators Troy Heinert, V.J. Smith, and Jim Stalzer.
