ABERDEEN, S.D.(Press Release)- Lace up those sneakers for the first Melgaard Fun Run of the summer coming up on Thursday, July 6.   Registration starts at 7:00 pm and the race begins at 7:30 pm.  The fee is $3 per runner or $5 per family.  Drawings for door prizes to participants will follow the race. The race is sponsored by the Aberdeen Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department with support from Avera Human Performance center, Lust Chevrolet and US Bank.

This is a two-mile Fun Run encouraging both avid and recreation runners as well as families to participate.  Registration will occur at the Southeast Shelter of Melgaard Park.
