ABERDEEN, S.D.(Press Release)- On Wednesday, August 4 the Aberdeen Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department will sponsor the Melgaard Park Fun Run at Melgaard Park at 7:30 p.m. The event will consist of a two-mile run that highlights the recreational trail along Moccasin Creek.  The Fun Run is open to recreational as well as avid runners of all ages.  The event will be non-competitive in nature.  Drawings will be made for prizes.  Prizes are being provided by Avera Human Performance, Steven Lust Chevrolet and U.S. Bank.

Registration will begin at 7:00 p.m. the day of the race.  The cost is $3.00 per person or $5.00 per family.
