Members of the House Select Committee on Impeachment react to the robo calls

PIERRE, S.D.(WNAX)- Members of the South Dakota House Select Committee on Investigation got automated robo calls last week, pushing them to vote to impeach Attorney General Jason Ravnsborg.

Committee member, Representative Mike Stevens of Yankton, says he got the calls.

Stevens says that type of action won’t stop the committees work.

Stevens says they are getting a lot of advice from all directions.

Committee member, Representative Ryan Cwach of Yankton, says multiple calls went to his law office.

Cwach says the calls won’t divert the committee’s attention.

Cwach says the committee will follow the evidence to a conclusion.

The robo calls were traced to Grand Solutions, Inc. a company based in Ohio. No one has claimed responsibility for paying for the calls.

The Select Committee on Impeachment will be doing an Executive Session today beginning at 3:30PM.
