Mental health forum set for Tuesday

ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – A mental health forum is set for Tuesday, March 3 at the Aberdeen Police Department Community Room.

The event, which starts at 6:30 p.m., is free and open to people within the community, according to Kelsi Vinger, Juvenile Detention Alternative, Initiative and Diversion Coordinator with the Brown County State’s Attorney Office.

She said the goal is to let people know what resources are available for help.

The forum is sponsored by the Brown County State’s Attorney Office, Child Protection Team, Aberdeen Police Department and Northeastern Mental Health. Those who plan on going should RSVP today by calling (605) 626-7130.

There are plans for additional forums in the future.
