YANKTON, S.D. (WNAX) – Besides individual bills, South Dakota legislators will also see bills from interim committees during the session.

Representative Ryan Cwach of Yankton was Co-Chair of the “Mental Health of First Responders Task Force,” which produced several bills.

Cwach says another bill would help set up peer support groups.

Cwach says peer support could be set up on a regional basis to help even the smallest agency.

Cwach, a Democrat, says all the bills had bi-partisan support on the task force.
