ABERDEEN, S.D.(Aberdeen American News)- After taking the Aberdeen Christian girls basketball team to its first-ever state tournament this season, head coach Michael Rohrbach has submitted his resignation.
Rohrbach compiled a 34-14 record in two seasons coaching the Knights. In his first year at the helm, he led the Knights to the SoDak 16, where they fell to White River.
It’ll be a new-look team for the Knights next season who will graduate four seniors, all mainstays in the starting rotation.
Aberdeen Christian’s administration will be seeking interested applicants this spring.
