OMAHA, N.E.(KBRK)- The Mid-America Business Conditions Index dropped slightly last month but still remained above growth neutral.

Creighton University economist Ernie Goss produces the monthly report.

He said the ag sector is doing worse.

Goss said the stock market keeps going up, while the overall economy continues to cool.

Goss compiles a monthly survey of business leaders across a nine-state region that includes South Dakota.
