OMAHA, N.E.(WNAX)- Economic conditions appear to be going in different directions, with some signs of a recession, and other segments showing strong growth.
Creighton University economics professor Ernie Goss says they are seeing that in the nine state Mid America region.
Goss says he expects inflation to stay fairly hot for a while.
Goss says interest rates will continue to rise, but more slowly than expected.
Goss says he also expects long term interest rates to also continue a slow rise.
Goss coordinates the monthly survey of business managers in the nine states from Minnesota and the Dakotas to Arkansas.
