MITCHELL, S.D.(KMIT)- The Mitchell City Council on Tuesday night approved a Sioux Falls-based architectural firm to conduct a Corn Palace renovation study.  Mitchell Mayor Bob Everson says the goal is to utilize the tourist attraction year-round.

Mitchell Public Works Director Joe Schroeder says there will be several components to the study.

The study, which should be completed in around four months, is expected to cost around $120,000.
