PIERRE, S.D. (WNAX) – The deadline to register to vote in the general election in South Dakota is approaching. Secretary of State Steve Barnett says don’t wait too long.

Barnett says it’s a simple form to get and fill out.

Almost 25 percent of registered voters in the state have already voted so far.
