YANKTON, S.D. (WNAX) – As flooded rivers start to drop, it looks like more water will soon be flowing downstream.
Kevin Low (rhymes with wow) with the National Weather Service Missouri River Basin Forecast Center says many rivers feeding into the Missouri River will be rising again.
Low says several of those rivers will show significant increases.
Low says rain could have a drastic impact.
The Big Sioux, Vermillion and James Rivers are predicted to rise to near flood stage again by late this month.
