HAYTI, S.D.(KXLG)- Hamlin County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call around 9:20 am on Saturday of a motorcycle crash, and a man was “bleeding from the head” at the intersection of U.S. Highway 81 and S.D. Highway 21.
The Hamlin County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash and found the motorcycle was turning onto U.S. Highway 81 from S.D. Highway 21 when the driver lost control on some gravel on the road. The driver was not wearing a helmet and received injuries from the crash. The driver was taken to the hospital by a private vehicle.
The Hamlin County Sheriff’s Office has charged the driver for Driving while the license is revoked, and there is no insurance.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol assisted in the call.
