YANKTON, S.D. (WNAX) – The little college on the hill on the westside of Yankton is now known as Mount Marty University.

President Marc Long says it has taken a while to get here officially.

Long says they have met the definition of a university for some time.

Long says they benefit from several traditions.

Long has said a goal is to increase enrollment to 1,000 students in the next few years.
