The defending NAIA DII national champs were eliminated in double-overtime last night by Southeastern (FL), 78-75.  DWU’s Kynedi Cheeseman got a put-back bucket w/ 8sec left to force the 1st OT tied at 61p.  Sarah Carr then hit 2FT w/ 48sec left in regulation to force a 2nd OT tied at 69 (despite going 0/13 from the field, she was 4/4 at the FT line).  Finally, down by 1p, Cheeseman turned the ball over w/ 18sec left & fouled Makenzie Cann who hit one of two FTs for a 2p SEU lead.  Then, Raegan Linster blocked Kaylee Kirk’s shot w/ 4sec to go & after a final FT went down for SEU, Cheeseman missed a 3pt heave at the buzzer.
