INDIANAPOLIS, I.N.(WNAX)- More than 55,000 FFA members from across the nation are in Indianapolis this week for the 94th National FFA Convention and Expo. South Dakota State FFA Treasurer Paige Lehrkamp of Rapid City, says ag education students are competing in a host of proficiency, career development and agri-science events.
She says the convention is also a great place for FFA members to network and for career development.
Lehrkamp says 35 South Dakota members are receiving their American FFA Degree at the convention and a new class of Stars over America were named. Lehrkamp says the national convention is the pinnacle of every FFA member’s career.
This year’s convention was held in person after a virtual event in 2020.
