SOUTH DAKOTA(WNAX)- The National Weather Service is predicting a mix of winter weather across the country.
Jon Gottsschalk, chief of NOAA’s operational prediction branch, released their winter forecast.
Gottschalk says parts of the south will see warmer than normal temperatures.
Gottschalk says above normal precipitation will also be scattered.
The outlook also indicated that areas of drought will continue to stay dry into next spring.
