National Weather Service predict La Nina climate to end in early 2023

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK(WNAX)- While the La Nina climate driver has hung around for three years, climate observers don’t expect it to make a fourth appearance.

Doug Kluck, Central Region Climate Services Director for the National Weather Service, says they see La Nina fading early next year.

Kluck moderated the north central region monthly climate update and said they expect cooler temperatures in the region for December and some areas with more precipitation.

Kluck says the expectation for December through February is pretty much more of the same.

Kluck says with La Nina fading the expectation is for more normal weather trends across North America.
