NDN Collective offer their support to improving climate change

RAPID CITY, S.D.(KOTA)- Following the recent international COP26 Climate Summit in Scotland, Jade Begay representing NDN Collective said the group had a goal of being connected with governmental leaders.

Begay, director of NDN’s climate justice campaign and member of the White House Environmental Justice Advisory Council, is doing just that. Begay being one of four voices invited to testify to the Congressional Subcommittee on Energy and Mineral Resources.

Begay used the platform to advocate against expanding public leasing for the oil and gas industries in the United States.

Despite the pro-environment message, Begay said actions taken by the Biden Administration share some of the liability.
