Burnsville, MN (NSUWolves.com) – Northern State University junior Nicholas Ochoa earned NSIC Player of the Week honors following the Wolves contests versus SMSU and BSU. He is the first Wolf to earn the honor this season.

NSIC Player of the Week – #17 Nicholas Ochoa (C, 5-10, 190, Jr., R/R, Santa Ana, Calif. / Segerstrom HS)
– Led the Wolves on the week hitting .471 (8-for-17) with 13 RBIs and ten runs
– Recorded three homeruns, two doubles and one triple on the week along with two stolen bags
– Was a single shy of the cycle in game one against Bemidji State
– Tallied 12 RBIs in the three game series sweep against the Beavers
– Notched a slugging percentage of 1.235 and an on base percentage of .609
– Was perfect on the defensive side with seven putouts and seven assists
