SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (WNAX) – Governor Kristi Noem was in Sioux Falls Monday looking at damages caused by Sunday nights riot and talking to business owners as they cleaned up.
Noem says those that caused the damage were not pushing for a cause.
Noem says those that protest police brutality need to help come up with solutions.
Noem says the people can make the best decisions.
The protest started in downtown Sioux Falls but became violent when marchers got to the Empire Mall. Sioux Falls Police got the crowd to leave by using tear gas and rubber bullets.
