Noem Administration offering help to tribes in fight against meth

PIERRE, S.D. (KELO.com) – The Noem Administration is offering South Dakota’s tribes, law enforcement officers to help the reservations fight their raging meth epidemic.

State Tribal Relations Secretary Dave Flute says the agreements would respect tribal sovereignty:

Governor Kristi Noem says the tribes often don’t have enough tribal police to handle the situation. She calls the proposed agreements a “new kind of partnership.”
