PIERRE, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – Governor Kristi Noem has declared Wednesday, April 8 as a Day of Prayer in South Dakota.
Noem talked about the proclamation during her daily press conference on Tuesday.
She said also went over the guidelines for her executive order in Minnehaha and Lincoln counties, which have the most positive cases of COVID-19.
The state reported 32 new positive cases on Tuesday, 216 new negative cases and seven new recoveries as well as two new deaths. Brown County did not have any new positive cases, but did have one recovery, bringing the totals to 13 positive cases and six recoveries.
Noem praised individuals of the health industry for their assistance during the pandemic.
