PIERRE, S.D. (KWAT) — Governor Kristi Noem is excited about the development of a new state veteran’s cemetery in eastern South Dakota.
Noem was in Sioux Falls last month for a groundbreaking ceremony.
Noem says it will be especially beneficial to the families of South Dakota’s veterans.
The cemetery is being developed on 13 acres near the interchange of Interstates 90 and 229 in Sioux Falls.
