YANKTON, S.D. (WNAX) – South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem held a teleconference with legislators this week to update them on the state response to the coronavirus pandemic.
Representative Jean Hunhoff of Yankton says most legislators are concerned about impacts in their districts.
Hunhoff says Noem stressed transparency.
Hunhoff says the Governor did talk about some of the financial information including the rising jobless numbers.
Hunhoff says Noem warned legislators about the expected steep drop in state revenues later this spring.
