Noem to announce back to normal plan on Tuesday

PIERRE, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem said that she will announce a back to normal plan for the state on Tuesday.

She said that details will be forthcoming on exactly what that looks like.

Noem said that the model will be based on projection totals among other facts and data.

The Governor continues to lobby leaders in Washington to be able to use federal funds to help with revenue loss. She said South Dakota has proven to be fiscally responsible.

The state reported 33 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Monday bringing the total to 2,245 cases. It also reported 68 new negatives cases moving that mark to 14,130 cases. There were also 59 new recoveries pushing that total to 1,316. The number of deaths remained at 11.

Locally, Brown County remained at 30 confirmed cases, but did have three new recoveries moving that total to 18.
