ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – Nominations are now being accepted for the Annual ABBY Awards.

The event, which this year is Sept. 17 at the Dakota Event Center, recognizes some of the city’s finest businesses.

Bea Smith, Director of Membership and Events with the Aberdeen Area Chamber of Commerce, talked about the awards. She said that nominations are voted on by a neutral out-of-state panel.

Smith said that all businesses, regardless of size, have an equal opportunity to win an award.

She said this year would be an opportune time to nominate a business.

Nominations are due in mid-August.
