(ABERDEEN, S.D.(Dakota Broadcasting) All three members of South Dakota’s delegation to Washington will not be in South Dakota when former President Donald Trump visits in September.
Former president Trump will be in Rapid City headlining the state GOP’s “Monumental Leaders Rally” at the Monument.
According to South Dakota Search Light all three have scheduling conflicts on that day.
South Dakota Senators John Thune and Mike Rounds have officially endorsed Senator Tim Scott for President.
Senator Rounds explained his reasons why.
Representative Dusty Johnson says he will not officially endorse a candidate for president, but did sing Scott’s praises when asked about who he likes in the primary.
Governor Kristi Noem is planning to attend the event on September 8th.
