ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – The annual Northern State Day of Champions did not take place this year, but that did not prevent NSU student-athletes from helping out their communities.

Justin Fraase, Director of Communications and Marketing at NSU, said that the desire to give back starts at the top and works its through the athletes.

Fraase said that the university appreciates all the support it receives from the area and giving back to those members is a part of the school’s culture. He said helping out communities can range from mowing lawns to serving meals.

Fraase said the Day of Champions will be back in full force in the future.
