Northern State Baseball Wraps up 2024

Aberdeen, SD ( – The Northern State University baseball fell to Minnesota State, 4-1 and 0-3 to start the three-game series. A late lead by the Golden Eagles kept the win out of reach for the Wolves in game one. The Wolves were unable to find a gap in the UMC defense with two hits in game two.

  • Northern State Chipped away from the deficit as Jackson Meyer grounded out to the pitcher while Jordan DeMarce scored in the bottom of the third inning
  • The Golden Eagles extended their lead with three runs in the fourth and sixth inning
  • In the top of the eighth inning, UMC tallied two runs off of a triple to lead by eight runs
