He wrote on his account, “To say I have fallen in love with Northern State, the fans and the Aberdeen community would be an understatement,” he said, “Aberdeen is such a special place. I will especially miss my time with the kids & faculty at Simmons Elementary School and hope the Leaders are Readers program we started will continue to thrive and make an impact. After much consideration, advice and prayer, I will be entering the transfer portal to find the next chapter in my basketball career.” At the time of this printing, there have been 407 DII men’s basketball players & 447 DI men’s players that have already entered the transfer portal.
