ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- Over the past four years Northern State University and University of South Dakota has worked in conjunction with a program called Honors Law of Opportunity Program(HLOP)

USD Knudson School of Law Dean Neil Fulton talks about the purpose of HLOP.

Fulton discuss how NSU & USD got together to work on this program.

Fulton credited Dr. Erin Fouberg of NSU for making this happen.

Fulton discuss one of the goals is to get more lawyers involved in rural communities.

Fulton close by talking about how great this opportunity is for those who wants to get into law.

This year Jakob Lund is the first NSU student to graduate from USD Law under this program.  The limit is five per year but Fulton did indicate that could go up depending on interest in the program.
