NSU Bach’s Lunch set for Wednesday, March 17

ABERDEEN, S.D.(Press Release) – The Northern State University Music Department will present the 10th and Almost Annual Bach’s Lunch, honoring the 336th birthday of Johann Sebastian Bach, at 12pm on Wednesday, March 17.

The performance will take place in the Jewett Theater in the NSU Johnson Fine Arts Center. Performers will include:

  • Kenneth Boulton and JoAnne Barry performing piano four-hands and eight-hands
  • Allan Jacobson, piano and piano eight-hands
  • Stuart Davidson, piano eight-hands and cello
  • Christopher Stanichar, violin
  • Leandro Fernandez Moutin, violin
  • Josh Opp, viola
  • William Wieland, piano
  • Members of the NSU Percussion Ensemble under the direction of Terry Beckler
  • MatejCip, Gillian Roda and Melissa Ulber
  • The NSU Chamber Singers under the direction of Timothy Woods

Due to COVID-19, admission is free to all 2020-21 NSU School of Fine Arts events. Limited seating is available. Masks are required for all patrons, and attendees are asked to follow appropriate social-distancing protocols. The concert will also be livestreamed on the NSU Music Department Facebook page.
