ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – The Northern State Symphonic and Concert bands will present “Explorations” at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 17 at the Johnson Fine Arts Center.

The concert is the first in a series of three, according to Rolf Olson, Director of Bands and Chair of the NSU Music Department.

Olson will conduct the Symphonic Band, while Audrey Miller will conduct the Concert Band.

Olson said the first concert of the season will feature pieces from a half dozen countries.

Tickets are $7 for adults, and $3.50 for NSU faculty and staff. NSU students are admitted free with their ID.

Olson said that the music will be lively during the concert.
