Joplin, MO (NSUWolves.com) – The Northern State cross country teams ended their season Saturday at the NCAA Central Regions Championships. The men’s team placed 24th overall for the 10k with an average time of 23:08 and the women placed 19th in the 6K with a time of 33:52.
MEN’S HIGHLIGHTS
- Josh Martinled the team with a time of 32:52.55 in 83rd place
- Evan Halberan a personal best of 33:32.50 and placed 114th
- Nathan Altoand Taylor Thorson placed 122nd and 126th respectively with times of 33:43.73

WOMEN’S HIGHLIGHTS
- Megan Pickeringwas the top finisher for the women, placing 29th overall
- Kenzie Hamannwas in the top-100 with a time of 22:46.63
- Avery Murrayended her season with a personal best of 23:11.07
- Rounding out the top five were Jolie Duganand Adisen Stadem. Dugan had a time of 23:42.63 and Stadem ran a personal best of 24:15.63
