WAYNE, NE (NSUWolves.com) – Northern State suffered its seventh loss of the season to the Wildcats of Wayne State, 71-61. In the loss, the Wolves tallied 61 points, 33 rebounds, 15 assists, seven steals and three blocks while shooting 36.4% from the field, 32.3% from deep and 73.3% from the charity stripe.

HOW IT HAPPENED
After trailing by 14 points going into the second half, Northern State turned on the jets, recording a game-high 22 points in the third quarter
Northern State finished the game with 31 three-point attempts, its most of the season, surpassing its 20 three-point shots in its win against Nebraska-Kearney on Nov. 15
In the loss, Izzy Moore recorded her second double-double in a row, dropping 21 points, 11 rebounds, six assists and three rebounds in the game before fouling out
Moore recorded five makes from beyond the arc and shot 6-of-15 overall from the field
Megan Counts and Taylor Tool had solid scoring performances, with Counts recording 18 points while Tool tallied 12
For Wayne State, Kylah vanDonkersgoed tallied a game-high 31 points in the win, while Rachel Dahlen dropped ten
The Wildcats were effective from the field, shooting 24-of-51 (47.1%) in the win

SIOUX FALLS, SD (NSUWolves.com) — Northern State tallied its fourth conference win of the season with a score victory over Augustana, courtesy of an excellent night from the field for the entire roster. In the game, NSU recorded 88 points, 41 rebounds, 18 assists, seven steals and one block while shooting 52.6% from the field, 59.1% from beyond the arc and 78.9% from the line.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Wolves came out firing on all cylinders, recording 28 points in the first quarter and 24 points in the second while allowing 21 points total in the first half
- Izzy Moore continued her streak of dominance, totaling 26 points, five rebounds, four assists and one steal while shooting 60% from the field, 66.7% from long range and a perfect 100% from the charity stripe
- As a team, Northern State made 30 of its 57 shots from the field (tied for the most makes this season) and went 13 of 22 from long range (most three-point makes in a game this season)
- Moore wasn’t the only Wolf putting on a clinic
- Morgan Fiedler recorded one-third of NSU’s assists with six and shot 75% from the field (her best shooting performance of the season), while Lily Klein totaled 12 points and four rebounds with 75-100-100 shooting splits throughout the game
- With six rebounds in the contest, Carli Kuyper led the way for the Wolves while also contributing seven points
- Eight Wolves recorded five or more points: Reagan Rus (six), Taylor Tool (seven), Kuyper (seven), Fiedler (seven), Megan Counts (eight), Makenzie Carrier (eight), Klein (12) and Moore (26)
- For Augustana, Isabella Sanneh led the way with 14 points and nine rebounds, leading the team in both categories, while Clarissa Sauder recorded a team-high three assists
