NSU Honors Program to host Holly Hoffman on April 6

ABERDEEN, S.D.(Press Release) – The Northern State University Honors Program will host speaker, author and former “Survivor” contestant Holly Hoffman at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 6.

The event, which is free and open to campus and the community, will take place in the Kessler’s Champions Club in the NSU Barnett Center Addition.

Hoffman grew up in Eureka, S.D., and attended Northern. She was the last remaining member of the Espada Tribe and the last woman standing on Season 21 of CBS’ hit reality show “Survivor Nicaragua.”

Today, Hoffman is a professional motivational speaker and the author of “Your Winner Within” and “Write Yourself a Note.” Through her “Survivor” experience, and others throughout her life, she was inspired to share her message of positivity, determination and confidence with business leaders, teachers, and students across the nation.
