Jackson Anderson – Sprints, Rapid City, S.D. / Stevens HS
Jackson Anderson is a sprinter out of Rapid City Stevens High School. He competed for the Raiders and head coach Paul Hendry at SHS. Anderson holds personal bests of 11.22 in the 100m and 19’1” in the long jump. He is the son of Wade and Ashley Anderson.
Jeffery Boschee – Jumps, Woonsocket, S.D. / Woonsocket HS
Jeffery Boschee is a jumper out of Woonsocket High School. He was a 4-year starter for the Blackhawks under the direction of head coach Emily Henriksen. Boschee holds a personal best of 6-7.25 in the high jump. He won the South Dakota State Championship in the high jump in 2022, 2023 and 2024. He is the son of Arin and Tricia Boschee.
Luke Campbell – Sprints/Hurdles, Viborg, S.D. / Viborg Hurley HS
Luke Campbell is a sprinter/hurdler out of Viborg Hurley High School. He was a 4-year letterwinner and team captain for the Cougars under the direction of head coach Bill Hansen. Campbell holds personal bests of 14.88 in the 110m hurdles and 39.80 in the 300m hurdles. He is the back-to-back 2023 and 2024 South Dakota State Champion in both the 110m hurdles and 300m hurdles. In addition, Campbell earned team MVP honors and scored the most points in a single season for the Cougars. He is the son of Donnie and Jena Campbell.
Jett Carlson – Throws, Aberdeen, S.D. / Central HS
Jett is a javelin thrower out of Aberdeen Central High School. He owns the school record in the javelin with a personal best of 160’0. He placed fourth at the South Dakota State Track meet this past spring. He is the son of Kim and Cindy Carlson, and also a member of the Northern State football program
Kayden Cronin – Jumps/Sprints, Gettysburg, S.D. / Gettysburg HS
Kayden Cronin is a jumper out of Gettysburg High School. She was a 5-year letterwinner for the Battlers under the direction of head coach Jamie Cronin. Cronin holds a personal best of 34’4” in the triple jump, placing eighth at the South Dakota State Track Meet in 2024. In addition, she placed fourth in the sprint medley relay in 2024 and third in the sprint medley relay in 2022. She is the daughter of Kelli and Brandon Nagel.
Liz Dunham – Pole Vault, Broomfield, Colo. / Broomfield HS
Liz Dunham is a pole vaulter out of Broomfield High School. She was a 4-year letterwinner for the Eagles under the direction of head coach Justin Hazzard. Dunham jumped a personal best 11’4” at the Colorado State meet. She is a 2-time all-state honoree. She is the daughter of Heather and Ron Dunham.
Gracen Hansen – Hurdles/Jumps, Timber Lake, S.D. / Timber Lake HS
Gracen Hansen is a jumper/hurdler out of Timber Lake High School. He was a 4-year letterwinner and team captain for the Panthers under the direction of head coach Ryan Gimbel. Hansen holds personal bests of 40.53 in the 300m hurdles and placed third at the South Dakota State meet. He anchored his team to a third place finish in the 4X400 at the state meet. He also holds a personal best of 40’6” in the triple jump. He is the son of Lyndsey Ducheneaux.
Macoya Hansen – Javelin, Oakes, N.D. / Oakes HS
Macoya Hansen is a javelin thrower out of Oakes High School. She was a 4-year letterwinner for the Tornados. Hansen holds a javelin person best of 130’3”.
Abby Hasart – Distance, Huron, S.D. / James Valley Christian / Dakota Wesleyan
Abby Hasart is a distance runner out of James Valley Christian and Dakota Wesleyan. She was a 6-year letterwinner for the Vikings. Hasart holds personal bests of 19:52.00 in the 5k, 12:20.00 in the 2-mile, 5:36.00 in the 1-mile, and 2:30.00 in the 800m. She was a 3-time individual Conference Champion and 6-time team Conference Champion in cross country and 5-time all-state honoree in cross country. In addition, Hasart placed fifth at the South Dakota State Track and Field meet in the 2-mile. With the Tigers, Hasart tallied personal bests of 23:16.00 in the 6k, 19:35.00 in the 5k, 11:45.00 in the 3000m, 5:38.00 in the mile, and 19:16.00 in the 5000m. She holds the DWU school record in the 6k and ranks top-10 in the 5k and outdoor 5000m. She is the daughter of Mike and Rhonda Hasart.
Bailen Hayford – Distance, Rapid City, S.D. / Rapid City Central
Bailen Hayford is a distance runner out of Rapid City Central High School. He is a 7-time letterwinner for the Cobblers in cross country and track and field. Hayford placed 22nd at the AA South Dakota State Cross Country Meet and tallied a personal record 16:24.00 in his final prep cross country season. On the track, he helped his team to a seventh place finish at the AA State Track and Field Meet participating in the 4x800m relay.
Justin Jacobson – Throws, Pelican Rapids, Minn. / Pelican Rapids Secondary
Justin Jacobson is a thrower out of Pelican Rapids Secondary. He was a 2-year letterwinner for the Vikings under the direction of head coach Cody Shaffer. Jacobson holds personal bests of 50’9” in the shot put and 170’8” in the discus. He won the conference and section shot put and discus championships in 2024 and placed third (discus) at the Minnesota State High School meet. He is the son of Candice Petersen.
Payton Kemnitz – Mid-Distance, Wolsey, S.D. / Wolsey-Wessington HS
Payton Kemnitz is a middle-distance runner out of Wolsey-Wessington High School. She was a 5-year letterwinner for the Warbirds under the direction of head coach Lindy Uttecht. Kemnitz holds personal bests of 2:28.00 in the 800m and 5:35.00 in the 1600m. She is the WWHS school record holder in the 800m, 1600m, 4x800m relay, 4x400m relay, and medley relay. The Warbirds have won the conference championship in each of her five seasons and tallied a region championship in 2022. She is the daughter of NSU track and field alum Joel and NSU alumna Shauna Kemnitz.
Abby Kolousek – Distance, Wessington Springs, S.D. / Wessington Springs HS
Abby Kolousek is a distance runner out of Wessington Springs High School. She was a 3-year letterwinner and team captain for the Spartans under the direction of head coaches Becky Krueger and Drew Kraft. Kolousek holds a personal best of 6:00 in the mile. She was a 3-time state qualifier in the 4x800m and 2-time state qualifier in cross country. She is the daughter of Scott and Amber Kolousek.
Sam Kreins – Throws, Reno, Nev. / Damonte Ranch HS / Minot State
Sam Kreins is a thrower out of Damonte Ranch High School and Minot State University. As a prep, he was a 4-year letterwinner, region shot put champion, and third place state finisher in the shot put. Competing for the Beavers, Kreins qualified for three NSIC Indoor and three NSIC Outdoor Championships. In the spring of 2024, he placed seventh in the shot put. Kreins holds personal bests of 16.18m in the shot put, 51.69, in the hammer, 39.87m in the javelin, 15.71m in the weight throw, and 39.13m in the discus. He is the son of Robert and Wendy Kreins.
Maggie Kruger – Pole Vault, Milbank, S.D. / Milbank HS
Maggie Kruger is a pole vaulter out of Milbank High School. She was a 3-year letterwinner for Bulldogs under the direction of head coach Eric Townsend and pole vault coach John Trevett. Kruger holds a personal best of 10’1”. She is a 3-time state qualifier placing as high as seventh in 2023 and 2024. In addition, Kruger won the Region 1A Championship in the spring of 2023. She is the daughter of David and Nancy Kruger.
Grace Kuch – Throws, Aberdeen, S.D. / Central HS
Grace Kuch is a thrower out of Aberdeen Central High School. She was a 4-year letterwinner for the Golden Eagles under the direction of head coaches Jim Appl and Jill Hermansen. Kuch holds personal bests of 121’0” in the javelin and 120’10” in the discus. She was the 2023 Athlete of the Meet at the ESD Conference meet and an All-Conference performer. She is the daughter of Jim and Becky Kuch.
Martin LaGrande – Sprints, Rapid City, S.D. / Stevens HS
Martin LaGrande is a sprinter out of Stevens High School. He was a member of the Raider program under the direction of head coach Paul Hendry and sprints coach Jeff Fierro. LaGrande holds personal bests of 23.48 in the 200m and 51.6 in the 400m. He qualified for the 2023 and 2024 South Dakota State meet and Stevens took third as a team in 2023. He is the son of Stephanie and Cecil LaGrande.
Rayvelle Leak – Sprints, Kansas City, Kan. / Wichita East HS
Rayvelle Leak is a sprinter out of Wichita East High School. He was a 4-year letterwinner and team captain for the Pilots under the direction of head coach Ene Apkan. Leak holds personal bests of 10.71 in the 100m and 21.90 in the 200m. He was a 2-time all-city and all-state selection and state runner-up. As a senior, Leak ranked in the top-8 in the 100m and 200m and was a member of the top ranked 4x100m relay team. His 4x100m squad broke the school record and tied the Kansas state record in the spring of 2024. He is the son of Tameca and Lavelle Leak and is a member of the Northern State football program.
Talan Lunders – Multi, Rapid City, S.D. / Stevens HS
Talan Lunders is a multi-events athlete out of Rapid City Stevens High School. HE was a 3-year letterwinner for the Raiders under the direction of head coach Paul Hendry. Lunders qualified for state competition in the 300m hurdles placing 8th, pole vault placing 6th, and 4x400m relay placing 8th. He is the son of Amy Lunders.
Geoffrey Mannino – Sprints, Venables, France / Lycée André Malraux
Geoffrey Mannino is a sprinter out of Venables, France with two years of eligibility. He holds personal bests of 7.39 in the 60m, 22.39 in the 200m, and 51.44 in the 400m. Mannino was a member of the French U18 Indoor Championship in the 4x200m relay.
Romane Maugest – Pole Vault, Rouen, France / Lycée Institut Les Tourelles
Romane Maugest is a pole vaulter with two years of eligibility from Rouen, France. She holds a person best of 4.15m in the pole vault. Maugest placed third at the French U23 Indoor Championships in 2022 and was a member of the French Team Championship and Vice Team Championship in 2019 and 2021.
Peyton Mausbach – Sprints, Sioux Falls, S.D. / O’Gorman HS
Peyton Mausbach is a sprinter out of O’Gorman High School. He was a letterwinner for the Knights under the direction of head coach Alex Butterfield. Mausbach holds personal bests of 10.96 in the 100, 22.46 in the 200m. In 2023, his 4×200 and sprint medley relay teams placed second at the South Dakota State meet, while the team won the state championship. This past spring his 4×100 team placed third, 4×200 placed fifth, and he placed eighth in the open 200 at the South Dakota State meet. He is the son of Paul and Angela Mausbach.
Rachel Miklos – Sprints, Custer, S.D. / Custer HS
Rachel Miklos is a sprinter out of Custer High School. She was a 4-year letterwinner for the Wildcats under the direction of head coach Karen Karim. Miklos is a 4-time state qualifier. She has been a part of many successful relays at Custer, including a runner-up performance in the 4x400m relay in 2022, 7th place finish in 2023, sixth place finish in 2024. She is the daughter of Amy and Tom Miklos.
Brooke Mushatt – Throws, Sauk Rapids, Minn. / Sauk Rapids-Rice HS
Brooke Mushatt is a thrower out of Sauk Rapids-Rice High School. She was a 3-year letterwinner and team captain for the Storm under the direction of head coach Loren Finlayson and throws coach Aaron Karasch. Mushatt holds personal bests of 131’1” in the discus, 35’10” in the shot put. She is a 3-time all-conference selection and 2-time academic all-state honoree. In addition, Mushatt is the 2023 AA Discus State Champion and state record holder in the event. She also holds the Sauk Rapids-Rice school record in the discus and is the Section 5AA Champion. She is the daughter of Brett and Aime Mushatt.
Kali Norton – Sprints, Ellendale, N.D. / Ellendale HS
Kali Norton is a sprinter out of Ellendale High School. She was a 6-year letterwinner for the Cardinals under the direction of head coach Lana Norton. Norton holds personal bests of 26.62 in the 200m and 1:00.31 in the 400m. She was a 3-time state qualifier and 8-time region placer. In addition, Norton holds the EHS school records in the indoor 200m, indoor 400m, and outdoor 400m. She is the daughter of Jason and Lana Norton.
Emaleigh Olesiak – Distance, Cromwell, Minn. / Cromwell-Wright HS
Emaleigh Olesiak is a distance runner out of Cromwell-Wright High School. She was a 10-time letterwinner in cross country and track and field for the Cardinals under the direction of head coaches Pete Koenig and Dave Foster. Olesiak holds personal bests of 19:33.00 in the 5k, 11:37.00 in the 3200m, and 5:19.00 in the 1600m. She is a 2-time conference champion and 3-time state participant. Olesiak holds the conference meet record in the 5k (19:56.00) and earned all-state accolades in 2023. She is the daughter of Justin and Tonya Olesiak.
Jessup Pederson – Mid-Distance, Dupree, S.D. / Dupree HS
Jessup Pederson is a middle distance runner out of Dupree High School. He was a 5-year letterwinner for the Tigers under the direction of head coach Jessie Longbrake. Pederson holds personal bests of 2:02.00 in the 800m, 4:36.00 in the 1600m, and 17:02.00 in the 5k (XC). He is a 6-time state qualifier; three years for track and field and two for cross country. In addition, Pederson holds the DHS school records in the 400m and 4x800m relay. He was a Little Moreau Conference Champion in the spring of 2022. He is the son of Bret and Cindy Pederson.
Greyson Schuetzle – Sprints/Hurdles, Pierre, S.D. / T.F. Riggs HS
Greyson Schuetzle is a sprinter/hurdler out of T.F. Riggs High School. He was a 4-year letterwinner for the Governors under the direction of head coach Aaron Schone. Schuetzle holds personal bests of 15.33 in the 110m hurdles placing fifth at the state meet, 41.31 in the 300m hurdles, and 6.28m in the long jump. He is the son of Gina and Scott Schuetzle.
Kibet Brian Selim – Distance, Kericho, Kenya / Soliat HS
Kibet Brian Selim is a distance runner our of Kericho, Kenya. He holds personal bests of 24:37.25 in the 8000m, 14:18.09 in the 5000m, 8:23.11 in the 3000m, and 30:23.00 in the 10k. In 2024 he competed at the Chepsaita Great Cross Country in the 8k with a time of 24:38.21 and the Eldoret City Half Marathon with a time of 1:03.14. He is the son of Robert Kipkoech and Edna Selim.
Anna Skachenko – Sprints, Coleharbor, N.D. / Underwood HS
Anna Skachenko is a sprinter out of Underwood High School. She was a 6-year letterwinner for the Comets under the direction of head coach Renee Fransen. Skachenko is a member of a successful string of relay teams. She won a pair of 4x400m relay championships in 2021 and 2023, and finished fourth in 2022, and eighth in 2024. Her 4×800 relay team also placed fifth at the ND State meet this past spring. UHS won the North Dakota Class B State Championship in 2023. She is the daughter of Mike and Brianne Skachenko.
Rainee Snyder – Pole Vault, Philip, S.D. / Haakon HS
Rainee Snyder is a pole vaulter out of Haakon High School. She was a 3-year letterwinner for the Soctties under the direction of head coach Scott Pinney. Snyder holds a personal best of 10” in the pole vault, finishing as high as eighth at the state meet. She is the daughter of Edward Snyder.
Zachary Terrio – Mid-Distance, Luverne, Minn. / Luverne HS
Zachary Terrio is a middle-distance runner out of Luverne High School. He was a 3-year letterwinner for the Cardinal under the direction of head coach Peter Janiszeski. Terrio holds personal bests 52.73 in the 400m. He is three-time MN state meet qualifier in the relays, with his team placing runner-up in the 4×100 in 2022, and eighth in the 4×400 in 2023. He was also a member and state meet qualifier in cross country. He is the son of Kirk and Tena Terrio.
David VanVeen – Distance, Aberdeen, S.D. / Central HS
David is a distance runner out of Aberdeen Central High School under the direction of head coach Greg Murley. He holds personal bests of 16:27.00 in the 5k, 4:21:00 in the 1600, and 9:29.00 in the 3200m. This past spring he placed sixth in the 3200m, and anchored his sprint medley relay team to a fourth place podium finish at the South Dakota State meet. He is son of NSU TF/CC alum Jeremey VanVeen and Kelly VanVeen.
Christian Wells – Distance, Aberdeen, S.D. / Central HS
Christian Wells is a distance runner out of Aberdeen Central High School. He was a 4-year letterwinner for the Golden Eagles under the direction of head coach Greg Murley. Wells holds personal bests of 4:40.00 in the 1600m, 10:12.00 in the 3200m, and 16:52.00 in the 5000m. He was a multiple year state qualifier in cross country and track and field, placing at the state cross country meet. He is the son of Craig and Michelle Wells.
Lincoln Woodring – Mid-Distance, Athol, S.D. / Northwestern Area HS
Lincoln Woodring is a middle distance runner out of Northwestern Area High School. He was a 4-year letterwinner for the Wildcats under the direction of coaches Kris Boekelheide, Derek Boekelheide, and Wade Rozell. Woodring holds personal bests of 1:57.47 in the 800m and 4:34.76 in the 1600m. He won the 2024 South Dakota State Championship in the 800m and took fourth in the 1600m. In addition, his medley relay team took third at the state meet in 2024. He is a 3-time all-state recipient in cross country. He is the son of Jared and Roxanne Woodring.
