PITTSBURG, KS (NSUWolves.com) – Tanner Berg made his mark on NSU track and field history Friday, becoming the 28th All-American on the men’s side. Berg concluded his indoor season by earning the first All-American honors of his career in the weight throw. The sophomore took 11th overall in the event, receiving second team All-American honors. He threw 19.52m on his first toss of the day. Berg was the second NSIC finisher in the field. The Northern track and field teams will open the outdoor season March 23-24 at the Wayne State Wildcat Classic, as well as the Cal Poly ShareSLO Invite on March 24.
