Aberdeen, SD (NSUWolves.com) [FRI] – The Northern State University volleyball team opened NSIC play Friday night with a sweep over Minnesota Crookston inside Wachs Arena. After a close first set, the Wolves comfortably took the next two sets to secure the 3-0 victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Northern State triumphed over MSU Moorhead in straight sets with set scores of 25-21, 25-17, and 27-25
- The Wolves hit .342 as a team with 50 kills, 48 assists, 64 digs, and five service aces
- Defensively, Northern held Moorhead to a .217 attack percentage and forced 14 errors
- With the score tied at 20-20 in the first set, a Katelyn Schroeder kill spurred a 4-0 run to go ahead 24-20
